Wildflowers, ferns, mosses, shrubs, and trees of our area have adapted to local environmental conditions over thousands of years and form a well-balanced ecosystem. Native plant species are ones that evolve naturally in a given region. If you don’t have plants to share, then come learn about our Indiana native plants. ![]() To ensure invasive species and pests are not inadvertently spread, please pot plants you bring in commercial potting soil. Non-invasive cultivars are welcome, but invasive plants are prohibited. Expect milkweed, asters, obedient plant, ox-eye sunflower, cup plants, indian physic, coreopsis, aronia bushes, witch hazel, pecan trees, and more!
